Hyderabad Man Faces Case Over Alleged Assault of Minor Girl and Threats Using Videos
Hyderabad: Begumpet police have registered a case against a 20-year-old man, identified as Farid, following allegations that he sexually assaulted a minor girl after gaining her trust under the guise of a romantic relationship. Authorities have launched an investigation based on a complaint filed by the girl's mother.
According to police, the accused and the minor became acquainted while working at a salon in Hyderabad's Hitec City area. Investigators say the friendship gradually developed, leading to a closer association between the two.
Allegations of Coercion and Sexual Assault
Police said the complaint alleges that Farid later took the girl in a cab to a friend's residence, where he is accused of threatening and sexually assaulting her. The allegations form the basis of the criminal case now under investigation.
